How do I return an item?


Some items are returnable through TriTech Corporation of America and others are not.

  • Manufacturers With Return Restrictions:

    Manufacturers' policies dictate that the following brands are not returnable through TriTech and must be returned to the manufacturer.

    If you receive a defective product from one of these manufacturers, please contact the manufacturer directly.

    • Brooktrout
    • Compaq
    • Hewlett Packard
    • IBM
    • Intel
    • Polycom
    • Quark
    • Sony
    • Toshiba
    • UMAX

    There are other manufacturers with similar policies. If you have questions, or would like more information, please contact TriTech before purchasing your merchandise. Items that come with a Money Back Guarantee should be returned to the manufacturer.

  • Return Procedure for Returnable Items

    To return an item that is returnable, please contact a TriTech Corporation of America customer service representative either via email at or by phone at 800.891.3388 between 8:00AM and 5:00PM CST before shipping the product back to TriTech. This will help us to ensure the proper action or credit upon processing.

    You will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization code that will be used for your return.

    For faster processing, please have the following information on hand when you contact TriTech:

    1. Customer number
    2. Invoice number
    3. Serial number
    4. Reason for return
    5. Action requested--whether you want a replacement, repair, return or credit
    6. Whether or not the box has been opened.

    In order to receive the full credit for returned merchandise, the items must be received in original condition and packed in the carton as if from the manufacturer. This includes all foam or other padding/bubble wrap, all manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories and any other documentation included with the original shipment. RMA approval is contingent upon receipt of the complete package.

    TriTech is not responsible for shipping charges. Products can be returned within 30 days of original purchase. After this time, product is considered "acceptable" by customer and cannot be returned.

  • Other Shipping Information:

    Please note that opened software cannot be returned under any circumstances.

    Customer is responsible for all risk of loss or damage incurred during shipping. TriTech recommends using only insured parcel post for delivery.

    Any non-defective item that is returned (such as a wrong item) will be charged a minimum of 15% restocking feel. This fee will not exceed 30%.

    Customer is responsible for shipping all returned items back to TriTech Corporation.

    Refurbished items are not returnable unless proven defective.

    TriTech reserves all other rights not mentioned here.
