About the Role
As a Network Engineer at TriTech, you will play a crucial role in designing, maintaining, and securing business networks across a variety of industries. You’ll work closely with clients to deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize their IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity, strong security, and high performance.
This role requires hands-on experience with networking hardware, software, and security systems, as well as the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently. You will collaborate with our IT support, VoIP, structured cabling, and security teams to provide fully integrated technology solutions.
Design, deploy, and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot switches, routers, access points, and network appliances.
Conduct network assessments to optimize performance, security, and scalability.
Assist with network cabling installations and testing for Ethernet and fiber networks.
Work with VoIP, security, and IT teams to ensure seamless network integration for phones, cameras, and access control systems.
Monitor and manage network security, including firewall rules, intrusion detection, and access controls.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network issues, both remotely and onsite.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve network efficiency.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in network engineering, IT support, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Ubiquiti, Aruba, or similar networking equipment.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and security best practices.
Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues, cabling problems, and hardware failures.
Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent (preferred but not required).
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills for working with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
